A Perfect Day

Seriously, I had no pain today! I don't know how that happened, but it really felt good to have a pain-free day. I had my blood work done this morning. My bili count is a 10.3 (and a drop from last week), but probably no chemo this week. I will talk to the doctor in the morning to find out for sure.

After my blood work, I was able to sit in the living room, which I usually can't do because I'm in pain. I just sat and talked with my kids, then David came home for lunch and we went for a drive into town. I actually felt like I could go do something. Logan and I went outside to deadhead some roses, then I thought I shouldn't overdo it, so I took a little nap before dinner. My appetite isn't great, but I had chicken and potatoes and fruit and I may have some soup still tonight.

I say that I don't know how it happened that I felt so good today, but I think it must have something to do with all the prayers offered on my behalf. Thank you for the love , encouragement, and prayers.

Sheri,
I have been checking your blog frequently today, hoping for an update with good news and we got it! It sounded like a great day spent with your family, nearly normal infact. The bili count wasn't the greatest it
s been but it is still an improvement from last week and that is a plus. Praying for a repeat tomorrow for you.

Sheri,
Lisa and I are so happy that you had a good day. Every time we have family prayer Emily blurts out SHERI, SHERI, BLESS SHERI! She starts saying it from the very begining of the prayer and doesn't quit until the person mentions you. She never gives the person giving the prayer a chance to do it on their own. We love you and Emily can assure you that we don't EVER forget to pray for you.

We're glad to hear you had a good day. I'm sure you enjoyed spending pain free time with the kids and David.

I guess we will be picking up some lodge poles for Sheryl. We will not be going to Utah this time, just down the road a piece. She only needs 25 more to complete her fence. Our trip to Oregon went well.

You are a sweet heart and we send our love and gentle hugs, Bob and Faye
