Small Miracles

Today has been a good day with my pain -- or lack thereof! I have been able to eat, so I guess the appetite cocktail is working for me. I am trying to drink several Ensures a day in addition to eating more. My swelling is still under control. My legs are swelling a little, but it isn't painful and it isn't as bad as it's been previously. Also, much to my surprise, the bili tube on my right side started draining today. It hasn't drained for a while, but for some reason the draining started again. I can't explain it, but I am pretty happy about it.

Sheri,
I am so glad to hear good news. Two positive posts in a row and I couldn't help but comment. I continue to pray daily for more relief to come your way. Keep trying to eat and hopefully the new drainage will bring GREAT numbers this week.
Love,
Erin

Sheri,
Hooray for you! I am bringing your family a meal this Friday. I think I'll call ahead and see if anything sounds good for you. With this new cocktail you're taking, maybe you'll start having some cravings. We'll keep our fingers crossed. XOPXOP, Lori

we have been in new hampshire for five days to see frenchy's mom and to go to his reunion. had a real great time. i followed your progress on my sister in law pc. made our stay even better to hear your pain was less,i guess it is better not to question why, just enjoy everyday with out much pain.last nite late, a police officer from hawthorn knocked on door and said a deer had been hit on hiway and got up and ran to back of our house. frenchy went looking and could see the tracks but not the deer, he will look again after work. if he fine's him or her we'll call fish and game.
keep the good news coming, love and prayers carol and frenchy
